My Windows 10 tablet has developed a fault in which it will not boot from its internal storage so ahead of me purchasing another car I am going to look at a way to implement something similar, using Linux as that is what runs on the Raspberry Pi and a suitable aftermarket head unit depending on the car I get which is a way off yet.
So using my desktop computer I have worked out how to get it to work in a similar fashion, as my Windows 10 tablet doesn't have GPS built in I used an external receiver which connects using Bluetooth, this could also be used in this instance.
