Paul Manning is a Brisbane-based software engineer and Agile Scrum Master who has traded the corporate sprint for a spiritual marathon. After a decades-long career in tech, Paul is now applying his professional expertise to a mission of historical and philosophical preservation: bringing the expansive works of Emanuel Swedenborg into the 21st century.

Since first discovering a Swedenborg compendium in a second-hand bookstore in Bath back in 1988, Paul has been fascinated by the intersection of science and mysticism. Today, he serves as the creative engine behind The Emanuel Swedenborg Fan Club, where he bridges the gap between 18th-century theology and modern digital media.

The Content: Producing engaging podcasts and videos that break down complex celestial concepts into digestible, modern conversations.

The Modernization: Translating dense, historical texts into modern formats—from MDX-powered articles to AI-enhanced educational shorts—making "heavenly secrets" relevant for a new generation of deep thinkers.

When he isn’t refactoring code or exploring the spiritual world, Paul is likely training to get his Parkrun time to under 25 minutes or playing chess online at lichess.org.
