The Lord is my shepherd I don't lack anything.
Recently, when I listened to these words at Mass, I wondered how true it was and whether I was sincere in answering with the words of Psalm 23. After all, without much thought, I can calculate what I'm missing... I thought about half a sermon 🙈 and I have a few observations that may help you too:
👉 God is the Shepherd and He knows what I really need at every moment of my life. The more I consider it, the more I see that not everything I wanted was my real need. And now I thank God that He did not fulfill all that I asked of Him. 🙉
👉 Change of perspective. Transformation of thinking. Swap please, please, please for thank you, thank you, thank you. Training yourself to see the good around you. Knowing how much I am gifted saves my heart. A grateful heart. This is the key.
👉 Trust in God: relationship with the One who is love and joyfully gives his children, allows me to sleep peacefully. He knows me. He knows everything. And in due time he will give me what I really need.
👉 I am a sheep in the hands of the best Shepherd 😍😍😍.
