Why am I doing this?

The budo journey is full of ups and downs, and the longer you stay on the path, it only gets harder. No one becomes a Sempai or Sensei without receiving a few scars along the way.

But most of struggle happens within the mind, or behind closed doors, only visible to the outside world after a few drinks, and to a small group of dedicated students at 2nd dojo.

As someone who loves, and have seen tangible benefits from the practice, I've actively sought out these stories from other dedicated practitioners for lessons and motivation for my own journey.

I would have quit many times along the way if not for these inspiring examples, and I want to share those meaningful stories with you.
