Patrick visited Low Yong Moh Restaurant in Jalan Tokong, Melaka for a nostalgic and unforgettable Dim Sum feast!
Patrick met the owner Mr. Low, who is the second generation owner. He was born in 1947 and was 80-years-old when I interviewed him.
The wife took our dim sum orders and calculated the bill later, RM65.10 only for lots of plates! Mrs. Low senior told Patrick that the business has been running for the past 90 years!
The restaurant was started by Mr. Low's father. The son is Wee, has taken over as the third generation proprietor, while Wee’s wife, Ms. Lynn, also works there to run the daily operations.
The family members are very warm, humble and friendly. I could tell that the regulars felt right at home at Low Yong Moh Restaurant.
I felt comfortable there too. The atmosphere was not only magical, but it was soul satisfying to say the least.
In my two hours there I could see a steady flow of patrons rotating the tables, that included tourists.
