Hi—I’m Pastor Rich Bitterman, a small-town Baptist pastor in the Missouri Ozarks, husband to Joy for over 30 years, and a passionate follower of Jesus Christ. I shepherd a little church down a gravel road, but by God’s grace, my ministry now reaches thousands each day through devotions, social media, and gospel encouragement.

I write daily to help believers stay rooted in God’s Word. I also equip churches to grow their online reach and spread the hope of Christ. Each devotion is prayed over with purpose—and written to lift weary hearts.

Like many rural pastors, I serve bi-vocationally—pastoring a small church while writing daily to reach a wider flock. This support helps sustain that calling.
