Once Human - Memetics, Cradle and More

Once Human - Memetics, Cradle and More

Apr 11, 2024

Let me first apologize for the lower right hand corner of the video. I didn’t realize I had the image I used to cover my chat on the screen when I’m live on Twitch. Unfortunately due to some of the stuff done in this video, there was no way for me to easily go back and film those sections again. Hopefully it's not too much of a distraction. With that said, there is so much in Once Human, and while not all of it is translated properly the game is still very fun to play, err test. I meant the test since this is a test session.

After the last video I did, someone asked me to cover the memetics and cradle. The best way I can explain memetics is that it is your lifeskills (gathering, crafting) and that your cradle is your combat skill tree. Your cradle will unlock when you reach Meyer’s Market and you will have 1 slot unlocked. Do not overlook your specializations in your memetics window, its in the upper left of the screen and is yellow. Don’t forget some of the specialization unlocks require you to craft an item and put it in your backpack to get the buff.

I’ve seen in game chat people struggling to get enough water because the rainwater collection systems are very slow and only work during rain. You can simply walk up to any water (don’t go too far in or you’ll start to get insanity) and you can press G and you’ll gather water. If you need salt, you can do this near sea water as well and then go to your stove and you can make salt.

If you need the Beaver, the Discoball, or the Gingerbread House, the locations for all of those are in the timestamps, as well as explaining the bus you see going around the map and the haunted house.

Finally, if you did not do the Junkyard in the Southwest Corner of Broken Delta because you only did 4 of 6 Rift Anchors, absolutely take yourself back down to the Junkyard and find the haunted revolver. It launches a very creep scene and it is 100% worth experiencing.
