About paliparan
a travel website with destination guides, trip reports, news & reviews

Paliparan was started by a team of enthusiastic travellers who felt the need to share their knowledge and experiences with the wider world.
We are lucky to have visited dozens of beautiful places all over the world. During every single trip we always managed to find useful articles, websites, books, internet forums and social media posts containing tons of useful travel information. These bits of insider advice allowed us to have fantastic, inspiring journeys. Without all this information about hidden gems, booking tricks, reviews as well as other travel hacks and secrets, we would not have been able to travel as often and would not have gotten the most out of every trip we made.
To earn back some karma points, and to chronicle all our previous trips, we therefore decided to give something back to the community by sharing all this travel knowledge with you – for free!
All the content on Paliparan.com and our social media pages is freely available. We hope our articles inspire you and help you to plan your next trip. Creating this website and writing all the articles is however not an easy task for our all-volunteer team. There are costs for the hosting and upkeep of the website which need to be paid. At times we struggle to get quality content published given that the work on this website is a spare-time hobby for which we do not get paid.
You can now buy us a coffee and support Paliparan directly. Each coffee helps us to pay for the website hosting services and other costs. Besides keeping the site online, donations also help to fund the research for our articles and allow us to spend more time writing amazing travel content.
If the Paliparan articles and posts have inspired you or helped you plan your own travels, you can now show your appreciation by buying us a coffee! Even donating a single cup of coffee will help us out a lot - and is simply a great morale (and caffeine!) boost.
On behalf of the entire Paliparan team, thanks for reading our website and supporting our travel website with a coffee or two!
