I am the writer of the Reddit postings titled Shanann's Slippery Slope. I am not a Shanann Watts "hater" let me be clear.  I started writing about the Watts case as it became obvious that so much of the real story has been omitted.  Slippery Slope was meant to be a look into Shanann's involvement with Thrive by Le-Vel, an MLM. I believe had she not immersed herself into the toxic MLM lifestyle, the murder of her and her children would not have happened. While researching her promoter status with Thrive, I began to realize that nothing about this case it what it seemed.  The Weld County DA's office and the MSM had spun a fairy tale image of Chris and Shanann's life together. It was anything but a fairy tale.  Over the course of the last few months, our preferred platform on this case via Reddit has been shuttered without explanation. I was a moderator of Wattsofftopic and was still given zero information on why the subreddit was suddenly erased from the platform. I am not alone in my questions and concerns about this case.  Why were we given a picture perfect narrative to follow in regards to the marriage and home life of Chris and Shanann Watts? Why are we vehemently discouraged from seeking out the truth? I am just a true crime fan and I've been captivated by this case. Mostly due to the manipulation of the truth by not just the DA's office and the media, but by the content creators, their supporters, and others. There's never been a case quite like this one or a perpetrator like Chris Watts.  I never expected to be without a place where I could share my thoughts, feelings and findings on the Watts case but that's where I have found myself. I merely want to share what I have found without the threats and ugliness that I have been subjected to.
