Hi, I’m Cheryl. After many years working as an addiction counsellor and supporting people through some of the hardest moments of their lives, I was unexpectedly let go. At 63, I’ve decided to turn that setback into something joyful.

I’ve always loved painting pottery, some of my happiest memories are of creating pieces with my kids when they were little and I’m finally ready to follow that passion. I’m launching Painted Treasures, a mobile pottery-painting business based in Edmonton, Alberta.

My heart is especially with seniors and vulnerable people who, for a number of reasons, can’t easily get out in public but still want to feel creative, connected, and safe within their own homes or communities. Painted Treasures is designed with them in mind: accessible, uplifting, and brought right to their door.
