I recently watched the movie, "Promising Young Women," and one line stuck with me was where one guy said he was a perfectionist so it was hard for him to write his novel. I went to a local art festival today and saw at least four different booths are set up by authors promoting their books. All of them have written at least three novels. One of them has passed away but his wife is still going to events to display his work. I could tell all of them been writing for years and have never given up. I wonder what propels all of us-- the unknown writers-- to keep writing...
