August 12 - App for Rise of Empires (Link)
Some of you may know from me and others may have seen on the page that I have plans to launch an app.
I'm studying the possibilities and it seems that the estimated value is between 1k to 2k usd depending on the functions I want to include initially, even though it's simple.
It is a high value for me and I will need the contribution
I don't know if it's worth doing this because I don't know if it's in the community's interest to have this in an APP, as I make everything available on the site on reddit..
The fundamental difference would be the ease of access, since they wouldn't need multiple files to be downloaded anymore. Any corrections or updates would already be done directly on your device.
I also have a series of worksheets that I use for planning that I don't usually share that help with my players' season planning. These tools could be turned into APP modules. I tried to do this on the site but I'm really bad at programming and it took me weeks to put up the honor calculation tool you may have seen on the sites recently.
So I would like to know your interest in contributing to this project. I have nothing to offer other than what I already do, it would just really be an exchange that we would have to better organize this content.
All content I make is voluntary, and any amount donated on support tab on this site during this process will be used exclusively for building this application, I will not use it for personal purposes.

August 19 - Update: Initial Milestone (Link)
To keep everyone informed about the process, I made some quotes, thinking of very basic functions to get the project off the ground, such as hero combo, daily schedule, etc (functions that seem to have more intense use for an initial version)
Most quotes start at around 2k usd. But I got one to be divided into parts, with a delivery time around 20 to 25 days for a very simple initial part, the cost of this part alone would be around 500 usd.
Approximately 200 usd have already been sent for this first stage, 40% of the amount needed for the first stage. (My deep thanks to everyone who sent it, some dear friends and other distinguished anonymous people, thank you very much for believing)
All players who contributed to this process feel free to send me suggestions for features that I will try to adapt in the stages of the project. One of the ones I'm trying to prioritize is translation.
Anyone who can share with other players and ask for their contribution to this plan come out of the paper, I am immensely grateful. Any help is welcome.
August 26 - First milestone reached (Link)
And finally we've reached the initial milestone to get our app running
I contacted the programmer and our delivery is scheduled for September 16th. I will try to bring you information regarding updates of the application build.
Very happy with all the help, I will try to list later the alliances involved in the process and try to compensate them in some way.
For now the application will only have three modules: hero combo, a summary about each hero and the arms races schedule with notifications
I'd like to hear a little bit about what next modules you routinely need to include in the next update.
Ps: We will continue to have new modules, as mentioned above, so every contribution on this site will be converted to these next steps. Keep contributing, keep sharing, I'll bring you new information soon.
