First things first, I don’t actually drink coffee. I’m a tea girl, with a cup of cocoa every now and then.
But I want to be clear about something: I’m not creating this page because I need people to buy me tea or cocoa, and I’m not looking for money to spend frivolously.
I’m preparing for a major change in my life.
For a long time, I’ve talked about wanting to build a life that gives me more freedom, peace, and the ability to live on my own terms. A big part of that is preparing financially and practically for the possibility of leaving the U.S. and creating a new home elsewhere.
I know racism exists everywhere. I’m not romanticizing anywhere else or pretending another country comes without its own challenges. But my experiences here have reached a point where I’m increasingly concerned about my peace of mind, my sense of safety, and what kind of environment I want to build my future in.
At this stage of my life, I don’t want to simply keep surviving. I want to prepare. I want to research, save, learn, create, and give myself options.
So if you choose to leave a little something here, that support goes toward the bigger picture of what I’m building, not toward a cup of tea. It helps me continue creating content, researching possibilities, sharing what I learn, and putting real resources behind this next chapter.
There is absolutely no pressure to contribute. Watching, commenting, sharing, subscribing, or simply following along already means something to me.
This is me trying to salvage the peace I have left, while intentionally building toward a life where I can have more of it.
