Our Own Game Company, now known as The OOGC, is an independent game development company established in Loveland, Colorado. We are a bunch of geeks who want to add our own unique voice to the game industry.

You never know what kind of treasure you will find in A’Kyria! Party member perks will be added to and adjusted as needed to provide the best possible value for our members.

GAME DEVELOPMENT

Long before the company was founded, we designed a tabletop role-playing game named A’Kyria. A’Kyria is a traditional fantasy tabletop RPG system based on an endless world of possibilities.

The game eventually generated its own gravity well, pulling in so many people who saw its potential that they became immersed in its creation. Everyone contributed ideas for expanding A’Kyria and developing new game concepts. As a result, we soon realized we needed to create our own game company to develop these ideas. We even joked that it would be amusing to name it Our Own Game Company. So we did!

A TABLETOP RPG WITH SOFTWARE?

While rigorously play testing and refining the game, we simultaneously designed and developed digital adventure software. We dubbed these Adventure Pods. They made playing A’Kyria even more enjoyable. We expanded these adventures and made them into a massive map of interconnected story lines.

The A’Kyria game rule book and individual Adventure and Battle pods are available for sale online. They are also available at conventions along the Front Range. You can sign up on our website to get FREE apps and tools to help facilitate game play.

WHAT’S NEXT?

The OOGC is currently working on a board game version of A’Kyria called A'Ventures: Fantasy! Stay tuned for the upcoming beta release on GameCrafters.

Our first novel set in the A’Kyria universe is being released in April 2025! It has been retooled, with a new cover, title, and a bonus story. The second novel in the series is set to release sometime in the last quarter of 2025.

As The OOGC grows, we have plans to expand the types of games, game accessories and entertainment that we provide. Our company was built around a world of infinite possibilities. The only limits are the limits you place on yourselves. We plan to follow where these possibilities lead us.
