Wo(manifesto): Leading with Purpose - Working Paper

(Wo)manifesto is an original research "gray paper" that I used to outline coFLOWco's approach to changing business through social entrepreneurship. It was meant to be a snapshot in time on the state of economic inequality and small business, and all the barriers startups and small business owners face.

This working paper, written from August through December of 2019, and first posted January 2020, was less than 2 months before workplace equality took a huge hit. Since then we've seen the backslide, as predicted and warned about in this paper. 

Note: The certifications on the cover of this research and memberships were all earned based on a commitment I made within the report to seek out the most equitable and fair business practices, though I cannot say they are all stamps I would recommend. What I can recommend: This report has over 275 works cited, a ton of stats to make your own arguments for change, and suggestions on how to use open source tools and research to build your own business for good.
