In 2008, on a random drive, I wondered:

“Is there a website that lists all the op shops in New Zealand?”

I couldn’t find one, so I built it.

Since then, Op Shop Directory NZ has grown into a nationwide directory with over 600 op shops listed and counting. The goal has always been simple: make it easier for people to find, rate, and review op shops across the country.

The site is run in my spare time. I’m constantly adding new shops, updating details, and removing outdated listings. Some updates come directly from shop owners, others from passionate op shoppers who want the info to stay accurate.
