I'm a data scientist and software developer. For over a decade I've built mathematical and machine learning models for banks, power utilities, and U.S. startups. Somewhere along the way I noticed how much of that skill was going into products designed to capture attention or sell people something, and it stopped sitting well with me.
The world already has plenty of entertainment and plenty of things to buy, so I'd rather spend my time building things that are actually worth something to people. It doesn't have to be huge, just something that makes life a little better.
YouTube Easy Unsubscribe started as a fix for a problem I had myself. Turned out a lot of people were stuck with the same one.
Frugalist.Club is the personal project I'm working on now. Professional financial tools at people's service, in a simple and friendly way: when you can actually retire, whether to buy or rent, how to get out of debt fastest. Free while it's in development.
One code. One habit. One goal.
