OPEN LETTER TO THE EUROPEAN UNION AND THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

To the People of Europe. To the People of Russia.
To the Leaders Who Still Believe in Peace.
AMERICA HAS RESIGNED. PERMANENTLY.
Let me be clear about what has happened:
The United States of America has officially resigned from the world stage.
Not temporarily. Not strategically. Permanently.
The Trump administration has made its choice. They want no conflict. They want no problems. They want no leadership. They have shrunk into something we cannot recognize.
American leadership is nowhere to be found.
The President has resigned from the world stage. The Secretary of State is silent. The Vice President is invisible.
There is no solution coming from Washington.
WHAT THIS MEANS FOR EUROPE AND RUSSIA
You are now on your own.
What America Has Abandoned The Consequence Leadership No one is setting the agenda Accountability No one is holding anyone responsible Diplomacy No one is brokering peace Red lines No one is defining the boundaries Protection No one is guaranteeing security
The United States is no longer the referee. The United States is no longer the peacemaker. The United States is no longer the guarantor of European security.
You must now solve this problem yourselves.
THE ESCALATION EUROPE CANNOT AFFORD
You are heading toward catastrophe.
· The UK has transferred Storm Shadow technology to Ukraine
· Russia has threatened to strike British military targets inside and outside Ukraine
· The war is escalating beyond Ukraine's borders
· Europe is being dragged into direct conflict with Russia
· NATO is being tested in ways it cannot survive
This is a path that ends in destruction.
And America will not save you.
WHAT YOU MUST DO NOW
I am begging both of you: take on the mantle of leadership.
To Europe:
· Call for your own emergency talks with Russia
· Find leaders who will hold you accountable for what you have done
· Choose whether Ukraine is worth destroying Europe for
· Begin intense negotiations directly with Moscow
· Restore what has been broken
To Russia:
· Find an exit out of this problem
· Recognize that Europe is divided and confused
· Seize the opportunity to negotiate directly with European capitals
· Understand that America's withdrawal is permanent
You cannot wait for Washington. Washington is gone.
THE CHOICE
This is the moment of choice.
