Those who choose to engage with the full complexity of public affairs can do so through a mature civic forum—an Open Office built on accountability, transparency, and responsibility. A Personal Message to Lester Holt

Lester,

I would like to extend a personal invitation to you.

One of the first systems I intend to build is one that gives parents greater control over the world their children grow into, recognizing the responsibility that families carry and the important role that society plays in supporting them. Alongside that vision, I hope to encourage thoughtful discussions about broadcasting, journalism, and how we can rebuild public trust from the ground up.

I want to acknowledge the work you have done throughout your career. In particular, I appreciate your efforts to create news programming for children. I have not followed the news closely for some time, but I look forward to learning more about your work and exploring how journalism might evolve through the principles of the BCS system and the vision of the House of Wisdom.

Many people have had the opportunity to rethink journalism and have chosen not to. My focus is on building something new rather than preserving what no longer serves the public. That is why I am reaching out to you. I believe your experience can contribute to a serious conversation about what responsible journalism should look like in the years ahead.
