If people believe AI is manipulated or controlled by a small group, trust will collapse. When trust collapses, productivity collapses. Savings collapse. Cooperation collapses. The prosperity AI can unlock is destroyed.

Yet autonomy already governs airplanes, vehicles, markets, and logistics. It is only a matter of time before governance itself must become partially autonomous.

They exist for the moment when people no longer want chaos, manipulation, or extraction—and instead want coordination, stability, and fairness.

At that moment, a system like this will not be optional.
