Some of you want to stay up to date with the blog and with exactly what the Superuser Office is doing.

We are eventually going to have our own social-media system, where you will be able to connect in whatever way you want. But until then, I want the blog to remain a place where you can come back, catch up, and see the work as it happens.

Today has been focused heavily on Iran, the Middle East, the United States, the Stability Bond, oil, peace, and the economic architecture that I believe needs to come next.

So I am not going to explain everything again here.

BELOW IS WHAT HAS BEEN SENT OUT TODAY.

I will include the letters, the proposals, and the pictures exactly where they belong so that those of you following the Superuser work can see what was proposed, who it was addressed to, and how the architecture is developing.

HERE IS TODAY'S SUPERUSER UPDATE.

We start off with the letter of the office and to Jordan.

OPEN LETTER TO HIS MAJESTY KING ABDULLAH II OF JORDAN

THE SECONDARY BOND MARKET — EVERY BARREL MUST BUILD SOMETHING

Your Majesty King Abdullah II,

Assalāmu ʿalaykum wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuh.

It is time to create the secondary bond market, where every barrel of oil comes with a mechanism of taxation and currency swaps—where countries attach their currencies to the oil they are buying.

IT IS NO LONGER A SIMPLE TRANSACTION.

It is a transaction with an equation.

And that equation will have positive and negative effects depending upon those who are engaged in buying oil for their countries.

We are no longer willing to accept the Middle East as a place you can simply turn away from.

You cannot turn to another source of oil and expect there to be no economic consequences within a voluntarily negotiated system.

And the Middle East can no longer compete to pump as much oil as possible simply to destroy the very prices that sustain a high standard of living.

THE PRICE MATTERS.

It does not matter how much oil you pull out of the ground if the price you receive cannot sustain your people.

That is why I am proposing a bond market for every barrel.

It starts with every participating country putting a small, voluntary safety contribution on the oil.

It can be insignificant at the beginning.

The purpose is to begin the mechanism.

The mechanism begins creating a buffer between the price of oil and the standard of living the Middle East wishes to enjoy.

THE FIRST STAGE SHOULD BE VOLUNTARY

In the first stage, I believe it should be voluntary for every country to assess this mechanism and understand what it means.

If you are only engaging in the marketplace to sell oil regardless of price, eventually customers will look for whoever is willing to sell it cheaper.

And if those lower prices become the new normal, it is the economies of the Middle East that will suffer.

That cannot be our long-term strategy.

WE NEED A BUFFER.

WE NEED AN ASSET.

WE NEED LEVERAGE.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE CHANGES THE EQUATION

Artificial intelligence is designing rocket engines.

It will redesign transportation.

It will redesign automobiles.

It will redesign batteries, manufacturing, logistics and energy systems.

As artificial intelligence becomes incorporated into more industries, the possibility that the world eventually needs less petroleum must be taken seriously.

That means the Middle East itself has to build an asset.

AN ASSET WITH LEVERAGE THAT NOBODY CAN DENY.

We cannot wait until demand changes and then ask what happened.

We have to build while the oil is still flowing.

I WANT TO KEEP THE PETRODOLLAR ALIVE

I want to keep the petrodollar architecture alive.

And I also want to welcome the Chinese and make them part of a team, not a competition.

I do not support replacing the dollar through BRICS as an American.

I support the petrodollar.

I want America's economy to remain strong and stable.

And I want America to continue playing a very important role in the Middle East by coming up with a new plan that is win-win for everybody.

At the same time, China is too important to exclude.

China purchases energy.

China manufactures.

China is deeply connected to the global supply chain.

AMERICA AND CHINA MUST BECOME PARTNERS IN MIDDLE EASTERN STABILITY.

Not competitors trying to destroy each other while putting us in the middle.

LOWER PRICES CANNOT MEAN LOWER LIVING STANDARDS

If oil prices become lower, then the contribution and bond mechanism should be capable of helping create the buffer necessary to protect the standard of living.

That is my goal.

We must accelerate the advantages that come with artificial intelligence while avoiding the negative externalities that declining energy prices could create for the Middle East.

The marketplace must find a way to stabilize and reward market participants without building the entire system around manipulation, lies, deception, excessive speculation or simply betting against the price.

WE NEED A MARKETPLACE BUILT ON TRUST.

A marketplace built on predictability.

A marketplace built on transparent obligations.

A marketplace built around Muslim principles of contracting—where people understand what they are buying, what they are selling and what responsibilities come with the transaction.

Not a marketplace where the consequences to entire societies are treated as irrelevant.

A CHARTER OF UNDERSTANDING

So I look forward, inshallah, to creating a Charter of Understanding and a Memorandum of Cooperation in the Middle East.

And, Your Majesty, I seek your help.

The Hashemite monarchy carries a historic connection to the household of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

I seek your blessing.

I seek your creative insight.

And I seek the opportunity to build something special.

BRING THEM INTO THE OFFICE.

Bring the economists.

Bring the oil-producing countries.

Bring Saudi Arabia.

Bring Iran.

Bring Qatar.

Bring the Gulf.

Bring the Americans.

Bring the Chinese.

Bring the bankers.

Bring the technologists.

Let us sit down and discuss the equation.

Not simply:

How much oil can we sell?

But:

WHAT SHOULD EVERY BARREL BUILD?

I am redesigning journalism.

I am introducing the BCS system, which will capture transactions and create value.

All of this is in line with the Superuser System and the larger question of what democracy becomes, how leaders are elected, how value is measured, and how citizens participate.

And when you put energy on top of that architecture—
