Muslim Governments: Protect the Love of the Prophet ﷺ

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْم

In the name of God most gracious most merciful.

🌙 An Open Letter to Muslim Governments: Protect the Love of the Prophet ﷺ

To the governments of the Muslim world —
we live in an age unlike any other.
Evil does not wait outside the door; it lives in our phones, in our homes, in our very pockets.
Every hour, every scroll, every message immerses us deeper in darkness than any generation before us.

And the truth is this:
All of it will be put on the scale.
Our words. Our screens. Our thoughts. Our actions.
And on that scale, the fear is clear: our evil will outweigh our good.

What then will save us?
What shield remains?
The answer is one: love.

Love for the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
Love that softens the heart.
Love that ignites faith.
Love that saves when deeds fail.
Love that carries us to intercession on the Day of Judgment.

The Neglect of Governments

But you, O governments — you have not protected this love.
You have not given it honor in public life.
You have not shielded it from those who bark against it.
You have not defended it as the lifeline of your people.

You protect borders.
You guard buildings.
You fund armies.
But the greatest treasure of your nation — the love of Muhammad ﷺ — is left vulnerable, ridiculed, debated, cut away.

Do you not fear Allah?
Do you not fear that by neglecting this love, you leave your people defenseless on the Day of Reckoning?
Do you not fear that if they are cut off from this light, your entire nations will be cut off with them?

The Stakes

This is not small.
This is not secondary.
This is not optional.

This is serious.
This is dangerous.

If you do not revive love, if you do not protect love, if you do not honor love — then know this:
We will all be losers.
Our wealth will not save us.
Our armies will not save us.
Our power will not save us.
Our arguments will not save us.

Only love will save us.
And if you refuse to protect it, then you refuse to protect yourselves.

The Call to Reflect

Reflect, O leaders. Reflect deeply:

  • What will stand on your scale?

  • What will save your people when their deeds are too heavy with sin?

  • What will remain when the bark of hypocrites has poisoned the faith of your youth?

There is one answer: return to love.
Return to celebrating.
Return to protecting.
Return to elevating the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in every home, every school, every masjid, every gathering.

Without this, your nations will collapse in spirit before they collapse in structure.
Without this, you will leave behind people who have nothing but argument, nothing but darkness, nothing but despair.

🌹 Governments of Islam — the time is now.
Protect the love of the Prophet ﷺ.
Protect your people.
Protect your own souls.

Because on the Day when there is no power but God’s, no shelter but mercy, no hope but intercession — you will wish you had defended love.

🌙 One Hundred Years of Darkness: A Plea for Relief

For one hundred years, Islam has carried scars —
scars left not by enemies outside, but by pretenders within.
They came with new books, with new tongues,
but not with the character of 1,400 years of scholars, saints, and lovers.

They did not inherit adab.
They did not inherit mercy.
They did not inherit love for the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

Instead, they inherited argument.
They trained themselves to fight, not to love.
They grew their beards, memorized their lines, sharpened their tongues,
and unleashed them against Muslims.

They attacked Mawlid.
They attacked love.
They attacked scholars.
They attacked the family of the Prophet ﷺ.

They decimated gatherings with their darkness.
They filled masjids with the smoke of argument.
They made the religion of mercy feel like a court of accusation.

The Endless Barking

And so Muslims have not caught a break.
For one hundred years, the dogs have not stopped barking.

  • Barking at celebration.

  • Barking at joy.

  • Barking at poetry.

  • Barking at saints.

  • Barking at every light they could not extinguish.

They barked at the very things that softened hearts,
because their own hearts were hard.

A Plea for Relief

I ask you: when will we get a break from these people?
When will Muslims be able to breathe again?
When will our children grow up with celebration instead of argument,
with poetry instead of polemics,
with love instead of accusation?

Muslim governments, Muslim leaders — hear this:
Your people are suffocating.
The Ummah is exhausted.
We need a break from the poison-tongued,
from the enemies of love,
from those who have stolen a century with their darkness.

The Call

It is time.
Time to say: no more.
Time to put distance between Muslims and those who only argue.
Time to protect the masses from the voices that cut love out of faith.

Because without love, faith dries and dies.
Without love, deeds collapse.
Without love, there is no salvation.

And the Prophet ﷺ said it plainly:
“You will be with those you love.”

🌹 One hundred years is enough.
We cannot allow another century of barking.
We call for a return to love,
a return to mercy,
a return to Muhammad ﷺ.

🌙 A Message to Those Who Refuse to Celebrate

To those who refuse to celebrate the birth of the Prophet ﷺ,
to those who have carried a hundred years of darkness in this religion,
to those who turned hearts away from love since the fall of the Caliphate —
hear my words.

You made this faith a battlefield of debate.
You turned the sweetness of love into arguments.
You trained your tongues to fight instead of soften.
You poisoned gatherings with endless disputes about what is wrong and what is right,
until your religion became nothing but a contest of noise.

Allah warned you of this:
وَلا تَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ تَفَرَّقُوا وَاخْتَلَفُوا مِن بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَهُمُ الْبَيِّنَاتُ
“And do not be like those who became divided and differed after clear proofs had come to them.”
(Qur’an 3:105).

And again He said:
فَذَرْهُمْ فِي غَمْرَتِهِمْ يَلْعَبُونَ
“So leave them to plunge in their vain discourse and play.”
(Qur’an 6:91).

What has become of your religion?
You cut from it the very soul — the love of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
You silenced joy.
You ridiculed celebration.
You laughed at those who smiled, gave gifts, sang poems, and rejoiced in his birth.
But in doing so, you cut yourselves away from mercy.

What Allah Said of You

Allah already described you:
إِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ الْأَبْتَرُ
“Indeed, the one who hates you is the one cut off.”
(Qur’an 108:3).

You are cut off — from love, from blessing, from the light that would have saved you.
You claim religion, but you carry only argument.
You claim to defend truth, but your hearts are hard, your gatherings dry, your speech bitter.

The Religion of Love Cannot Be Stopped

Know this:
The Prophet ﷺ is celebrated in the heavens.
The angels rejoiced at his birth.
The righteous rejoice on earth.
And no matter how much you fight, you cannot stop the light of love from spreading.

For love is stronger than your arguments.
Love is stronger than your debates.
Love is stronger than your darkness.

🌙

🌙 Conclusion: Be Among the Lovers

Even Abu Jahl — the greatest enemy of the Prophet ﷺ — celebrated his birth.
When he freed his slave out of joy at the Prophet’s arrival, Allah gave him a reward.
And it is narrated that every Monday, even in Hell, Abu Jahl is given relief because of that single act of celebration.

If this is the mercy given to the worst of enemies,
what then of those who are counted among the lovers?
What then of those who rejoice for a whole month?

Muslim governments — you do not know your fate.
But know this: if you refuse to honor the Prophet’s birth ﷺ,
you are bringing more evil upon yourselves than any Muslim government will be able to bear on the Day of Judgment.

The Mawlid — his blessed birth — is your chance.
Even if we must be purified in Hell, celebration of his birth could give us a break, a relief, a mercy that no deeds of ours could buy.

So make this a 30-day celebration of light.
Not a single day.
Not a single night.
A full month of joy, gratitude, mercy, and love.

🌹 Be lovers.
🌹 Show your love.
🌹 Rejoice in his birth.

For the one who celebrates him will never be cut off.
And the one who loves him will always be with him.
