1. The Call to Worship Allah Alone (3:51)
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ رَبِّى وَرَبُّكُمۡ فَٱعۡبُدُوهُۚ هَـٰذَا صِرَٰطٌ۬ مُّسۡتَقِيمٌ۬ ٥١
Translation:
_Indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is the straight path._

2. The Disciples' Declaration of Faith (3:52-53)
فَلَمَّآ أَحَسَّ عِيسَىٰ مِنۡهُمُ ٱلۡكُفۡرَ قَالَ مَنۡ أَنصَارِىٓ إِلَى ٱللَّهِۖ قَالَ ٱلۡحَوَارِيُّونَ نَحۡنُ أَنصَارُ ٱللَّهِ ءَامَنَّا بِٱللَّهِ وَٱشۡهَدۡ بِأَنَّا مُسۡلِمُونَ ٥٢ رَبَّنَآ ءَامَنَّا بِمَآ أَنزَلۡتَ وَٱتَّبَعۡنَا ٱلرَّسُولَ فَٱكۡتُبۡنَا مَعَ ٱلشَّـٰهِدِينَ ٥٣
Translation:
_But when Jesus felt [persistence in] disbelief from them, he said, "Who are my supporters for [the cause of] Allah?" The disciples said," We are supporters for Allah. We have believed in Allah and testify that we are Muslims [submitting to Him]. Our Lord, we have believed in what You revealed and have followed the messenger [Jesus], so register us among the witnesses [to truth]."_

3. The Plot Against Jesus and Allah's Plan (3:54-55)
وَمَكَرُواْ وَمَكَرَ ٱللَّهُۖ وَٱللَّهُ خَيۡرُ ٱلۡمَـٰكِرِينَ ٥٤ إِذۡ قَالَ ٱللَّهُ يَـٰعِيسَىٰٓ إِنِّى مُتَوَفِّيكَ وَرَافِعُكَ إِلَىَّ وَمُطَهِّرُكَ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَجَاعِلُ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّبَعُوكَ فَوۡقَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡقِيَـٰمَةِۖ ثُمَّ إِلَىَّ مَرۡجِعُكُمۡ فَأَحۡكُمُ بَيۡنَكُمۡ فِيمَا كُنتُمۡ فِيهِ تَخۡتَلِفُونَ ٥٥
Translation:
_And they [i.e., the disbelievers] planned, but Allah planned. And Allah is the best of planners. [Mention] when Allah said, "O Jesus, indeed I will take you and raise you to Myself and purify you from those who disbelieve and make those who follow you [in submission to Allah alone] superior to those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me is your return, and I will judge between you concerning that in which you used to differ."_

4. The Fate of Believers and Disbelievers (3:56-57)
فَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فَأُعَذِّبُهُمۡ عَذَابً۬ا شَدِيدً۬ا فِى ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَٱلۡأَخِرَةِ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن نَّـٰصِرِينَ ٥٦ وَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ فَيُوَفِّيهِمۡ أُجُورَهُمۡۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ ٥٧
Translation:
_But as for those who disbelieve, I will punish them with a severe punishment in this world and the Hereafter, and they will have no helpers. But as for those who believed and did righteous deeds, He will give them in full their rewards, and Allah does not like the wrongdoers._

5. The Truth of Jesus' Birth and Mission (3:58-60)
ذَٲلِكَ نَتۡلُوهُ عَلَيۡكَ مِنَ ٱلۡأَيَـٰتِ وَٱلذِّكۡرِ ٱلۡحَكِيمِ ٥٨ إِنَّ مَثَلَ عِيسَىٰ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ كَمَثَلِ ءَادَمَۖ خَلَقَهُ ۥ مِن تُرَابٍ۬ ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُ ۥ كُن فَيَكُونُ ٥٩ ٱلۡحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكَ فَلَا تَكُن مِّنَ ٱلۡمُمۡتَرِينَ ٦٠
Translation:
_This is what We recite to you, [O Muhammad], of Our verses and the precise [and wise] message. Indeed, the
6. The Challenge to Disbelievers: The Mubahala (3:61-63)

فَمَنۡ حَآجَّكَ فِيهِ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا جَآءَكَ مِنَ ٱلۡعِلۡمِ فَقُلۡ تَعَالَوۡاْ نَدۡعُ أَبۡنَآءَنَا وَأَبۡنَآءَكُمۡ وَنِسَآءَنَا وَنِسَآءَكُمۡ وَأَنفُسَنَا وَأَنفُسَكُمۡ ثُمَّ نَبۡتَهِلۡ فَنَجۡعَل لَّعۡنَتَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَى ٱلۡكَـٰذِبِينَ ٦١ إِنَّ هَـٰذَا لَهُوَ ٱلۡقَصَصُ ٱلۡحَقُّۚ وَمَا مِنۡ إِلَـٰهٍ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُۚ وَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ ٦٢ فَإِن تَوَلَّوۡاْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيمُۢ بِٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَ ٦٣
English Translation:
Then whoever argues with you about it after knowledge has come to you, say, "Come, let us call our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves, then let us sincerely pray and invoke the curse of Allah upon the liars." This is indeed the true account, and there is no deity except Allah. And indeed, Allah is the Almighty, the Wise. But if they turn away, then surely Allah has full knowledge of the corrupters.
7. The False Claims of the People of the Book (3:64-67)

قُلۡ يَـٰٓأَهۡلَ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ تَعَالَوۡاْ إِلَىٰ كَلِمَةٍ۬ سَوَآءِۭ بَيۡنَنَا وَبَيۡنَكُمۡ أَلَّا نَعۡبُدَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهَ وَلَا نُشۡرِكَ بِهِۦ شَيۡـًٔ۬ا وَلَا يَتَّخِذَ بَعۡضُنَا بَعۡضًا أَرۡبَابً۬ا مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِۚ فَإِن تَوَلَّوۡاْ فَقُولُواْ ٱشۡهَدُواْ بِأَنَّا مُسۡلِمُونَ ٦٤ يَـٰٓأَهۡلَ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ لِمَ تُحَآجُّونَ فِىٓ إِبۡرَٲهِيمَ وَمَآ أُنزِلَتِ ٱلتَّوۡرَٮٰةُ وَٱلۡإِنجِيلُ إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِۦٓۚ أَفَلَا تَعۡقِلُونَ ٦٥ هَـٰٓأَنتُمۡ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ حَـٰجَجۡتُمۡ فِيمَا لَكُم بِهِۦ عِلۡمٌ۬ فَلِمَ تُحَآجُّونَ فِيمَا لَيۡسَ لَكُم بِهِۦ عِلۡمٌ۬ۚ وَٱللَّهُ يَعۡلَمُ وَأَنتُمۡ لَا تَعۡلَمُونَ ٦٦ مَا كَانَ إِبۡرَٲهِيمُ يَهُودِيًّ۬ا وَلَا نَصۡرَانِيًّ۬ا وَلَـٰكِن كَانَ حَنِيفً۬ا مُّسۡلِمً۬اۚ وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ ٦٧
English Translation:
Say, "O People of the Book, come to a common word between us and you: that we worship none but Allah, associate none with Him, and take none as lords besides Allah." But if they turn away, then say, "Bear witness that we are Muslims."
O People of the Book! Why do you argue about Abraham when the Torah and the Gospel were not revealed until after him? Do you not understand? Here you are—you disputed about things of which you had some knowledge, but why do you dispute about things of which you have no knowledge? Allah knows, while you do not. Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was a true monotheist, a Muslim, and he was not of the polytheists.

Context of Revelation and Historical Background
1. The Mubahala (Mutual Invocation of the Curse of Allah)
The challenge issued in Surah Aal-E-Imran 3:61 was directed towards the Christian delegation from Najran who visited Prophet Muhammad ﷺ to debate the nature of Jesus. When they refused to accept the truth, the Prophet invited them to invoke Allah’s curse upon the liars (Mubahala), but they declined out of fear, acknowledging that Muhammad ﷺ was truthful.
