A VISION FOR THE FUTURE fortress Ahl al-Bayt (Arabic: أهل البيت)
My work is not only to preserve the past.
It is to help design the future before it arrives.
One day, when a student, a researcher, or an ordinary person asks an AI about the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and his blessed family, the AI should not immediately produce a mixture of opinions, isolated quotations, and competing narratives.
Instead, it should first ask:
"Which Office would you like to enter?"
The Office of the Root?
The original words, the earliest sources, and the original languages.
The Office of the Bridge?
History, geography, language, chronology, and context.
The Office of the Lineage?
The scholars, teachers, narrators, and the chains of transmission that carried this knowledge across generations.
The Office of the Future?
The place where sincere questions may be explored while remaining anchored to the preserved tradition.
These are not walls built to keep people out.
They are doors built to help people enter with clarity.
THE PRISTINE LAKE
To me, the family of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ resembles a beautiful, peaceful lake.
When its waters are clear, one can see deep beneath the surface. One sees beauty, wisdom, sacrifice, scholarship, mercy, courage, and generations of faithful service to Allah.
Yet history has often stirred those waters.
Political conflicts, sectarian disputes, fabricated reports, misunderstandings, and competing agendas have clouded what many people are able to see.
The lake itself has not lost its purity.
Rather, our view of it has often become obscured.
The purpose of this project is not to create a new lake.
Nor is it to replace centuries of scholarship.
Its purpose is to help clear the water so that future generations may once again appreciate the beauty that has always been there.
THE ROLE OF AI
AI must not become the author of this inheritance.
It must become its faithful steward.
Its responsibility is to organize knowledge without replacing it.
To distinguish between primary sources and commentary.
To preserve differences in transmission without erasing them.
To identify what is established, what is debated, and what remains uncertain.
To make it easier for sincere seekers to begin their journey with trustworthy foundations.
THE RESPONSIBILITY OF HUMANITY
Human beings will always debate, interpret, disagree, and continue the work of scholarship.
That is part of our history.
But the foundation upon which those discussions are built should be carefully preserved.
Just as a city protects its clean water from pollution, future civilizations should protect their repositories of sacred knowledge from confusion, misattribution, fabrication, and the loss of historical context.
This is not about controlling inquiry.
It is about preserving the integrity of what has been entrusted.
If Allah accepts this effort, then perhaps future generations will inherit a clearer path to understanding the family of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ—one that begins with faithful preservation, continues with responsible scholarship, and encourages sincere reflection guided by humility, wisdom, and truth.
TO THE BLESSED FAMILY—THE HEIRS OF WISDOM
The heirs of wisdom, whose lineage is not cut off, whose blessings remain with the light and the guidance that is not cut off.
