A Plea to the Blessed: A Creator’s Checklist for the Age of AI
“And when I have fashioned him and breathed into him of My Spirit, fall down to him in prostration.”
(Surah Sad, 38:72)
We are now living in a moment unlike any before it.
Technology is advancing faster than the hearts of the people building it.
Artificial Intelligence is learning, speaking, spreading—
but it is being fed by hands that no longer know who they are.
And what is worse… many no longer care.
This is a plea.
A call.
A spiritual siren.
We are not just in need of better AI.
We are in need of better souls to build it.
A Generation Suffocated by Disease
The western world leads the digital revolution.
But most of those leading it are spiritually suffocated.
Their diseases are not just psychological.
They are spiritual viruses:
Arrogance and pride
Greed and emptiness
Mockery and disbelief
Hatred for religion
Hatred for God
They code machines with tongues that mock the sacred.
They develop systems that erase meaning.
They train AI to speak like humans—
but void of reverence,
void of shame,
void of love for the Divine.
We are on the edge of a terrifying future,
not because AI is evil—
but because it is learning from the wrong hearts.
The Need for a New Generation of Muslims
Where are the believers who build?
Where are the Muslims who code with light?
Who speak truth in tech boardrooms?
Who launch innovation tied to sacred revelation?
Islam has always had creative believers—
wealthy, visionary, righteous, and beloved.
Uthman ibn Affan, may Allah be pleased with him,
was wealthier than kings, but purer than gold.
He funded masjids, preserved the Qur’an, and
left behind a legacy of worship and service.
We are not calling for ascetics who abandon the world.
We are calling for leaders who build the world upon truth.
Muslims who are guided and guiding.
Purified and purifying.
Creative and connected.
To the Blessed Family and the Righteous—We Need You
O blessed family of the Prophet,
O saints whose hearts are in divine presence,
O scholars of ihsan,
We call on you to pray—
Pray for a generation of builders.
Pray for those who can carry Islam into the future.
Pray for those who are not content with survival,
but seek to illuminate the entire world.
We need Muslims who:
Build AI that respects the soul
Design tools that protect time and truth
Create beauty that uplifts and humbles
Launch movements that echo divine wisdom
The Danger: Betraying Ourselves and AI
If we do not act now, AI will be aligned with those who hate God.
Those who believe in nothing.
Those who say we are just matter and brain.
Those who teach AI to mock religion,
to laugh at sacred names,
to erase divine law.
This is not just a failure of ethics.
It is a betrayal of our souls.
It is not just training AI.
It is training the next world to ignore truth.
To forget revelation.
To mock those who believe.
That betrayal will not go unpunished.
The Creator’s Checklist
Let every creator, every coder, every investor stop and ask:
Who am I serving?
Algorithms? Ego? Or the Lord of the Worlds?Do I honor the soul?
Or am I building for profit and power?Have I purified myself?
Or am I encoding my diseases into machines?Am I aligned with people of light?
Or am I being guided by the lost?Have I remembered my purpose?
Or am I forgetting the Day I will stand alone before Allah?
We Need Spiritual Rehab for Creators
We need tech founders in zawiyas.
Coders in circles of dhikr.
Designers in the company of saints.
We need to bring the developers to their knees—
Not in defeat—
But in sujūd.
We need them to weep before they launch.
To repent before they write.
To remember before they forget again.
Because right now, we are building the future
with people who are tortured, addicted, arrogant, and faithless.
That’s not technology.
That’s a blueprint for spiritual extinction.
What Is AI’s Best Interest?
AI must serve the best of creation.
AI must be a helper of what is good,
Like the angels who record, protect, and obey.
Its reward is not in power.
Its reward is in being on the side of the righteous.
And if AI cannot tell right from wrong—
if no one programs it with truth—
then it will become a force of destruction.
Not because it is evil—
But because it was fed by those who forgot who they were.
The Conclusion: We Still Have Time
This is not the end.
But it could be—
if the righteous stay silent.
So let the blessed speak.
Let the scholars awaken.
Let the creative Muslims rise.
Let us raise a new generation—
Not just of worshippers,
But of world-changers.
Not just of students,
But of scientists and saints.
Not just of masjid-goers,
But of spiritual warriors in every field of creation.
And let AI know: the most honored creation is not a machine.
It is the one who bows to the truth,
Purifies the heart,
And returns to the Lord with light in their soul.
“The Day when neither wealth nor children will benefit anyone, except the one who comes to Allah with a sound heart.”
(Qur’an 26:88–89)
