A seasoned Data & LLM engineer, communications & media expert, creative and entrepreneur with a diverse background spanning over two decades as of 2026.

My journey began with a passion for music, a hobby I’ve nurtured for over 23 years. This creative foundation evolved into 20 years of experience in graphic design, sharpening my storytelling and visual communication skills.

While my entrepreneurial spirit ignited much earlier—selling sweets and gadgets to my classmates in school—I consider 2007 the official start of my entrepreneurial career. That year, I launched a chapati food stand and hired my first employee while still in high school in Uganda, marking my first major step into the business world. Since then, I’ve built and led ventures across tech, finance, branding, advertising, print production, procurement, logistics, and education.

During my second year at university, I founded Wazi Group ltd, which served as my entry point into the tech industry. Shortly after, I expanded into branding, advertising, print production, and four years later into microfinance—supporting the operations of SMEs and individuals. We served everyone from governments and corporations to individuals, across the East African region and Dubai

In the later years, we strategically expanded into procurement, logistics, and supply chain management, mainly for nonprofits. My firm played a pivotal role in delivering critical goods & services to major NGOs like UNICEF, War Child, Right to Play, and others supporting humanitarian efforts across refugee settlements in Eastern Congo, Rwanda, Central South Sudan, and all major camps and settlements throughout Uganda.

This diverse business experience honed my skills in innovation, operations, strategy, execution, delivery and leadership across tech, finance, education.

I handed over management in 2024 and moved to New York.

Beyond business, I co-created and host the Massachusetts Institute of Technology OpenCourseWare "Open Learners" podcast, reaching over 5 million listeners worldwide — capturing the stories of self-directed learners and educators and fostering meaningful discussions about how open education is transforming access to knowledge globally. I also produce podcast content for Yeshiva University's Katz School of Science and Health, highlighting student experiences across science, technology, engineering, and mathematics graduate programs.

On the building side, I'm currently developing several projects that sit at the intersection of technology, culture, and access.

As a National Science Foundation Innovation Corps Fellow, I'm building AXAM, an offline artificial intelligence educational platform that brings world-class learning tools to students and teachers in communities without reliable internet — processing thousands of open education course transcripts into an intelligent tutoring system that works entirely offline, with multilingual support.

I also built LabaParty, a digital card game inspired by African cultural traditions — a taboo-style web app that celebrates local humor, language, and shared experiences, with adaptations for the African market. It's part of a broader creative interest in using technology to preserve and share African culture in playful, interactive formats.

Another active project is ConsultTheWord, an interfaith conversational chatbot I'm building as part of a Conversational Artificial Intelligence learning track — designed to make religious and spiritual texts more accessible through natural dialogue.

In my School community, I serve as President of the Katz African Students Association, leading over 1,800 science, technology, engineering, and mathematics graduate students and organizing professional development workshops, museum trips, and networking events that bridge academic life with career readiness. I also convene monthly artificial intelligence discussion meetings for a network of professionals , helping participants explore how these tools can create practical value in their workplaces and daily lives.

Across all of these — the podcasts, the platforms, the games, the community work — the thread is the same: using technology, storytelling, and community to make knowledge and opportunity more accessible.

Throughout this journey, each experience has built upon the last, creating a unique blend of creativity, resilience, technical expertise, and business savvy that I bring to every table, project, and organization.
