I also did some digging into what kind of scams happen in bars in Vietnam and found out it’s actually the same as in Turkiye! They also happen in big cities (Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh), and I didn’t hear about anyone being scammed in a bar here in Da Nang. But it’s such an old scam, better be aware of it whenever you go out while traveling abroad anywhere.
