My name is Olena Rohoza. I am the wife of a Ukrainian war veteran and the mother of three children.

My husband defended Ukraine, survived a horrific accident that left him with more than 20 broken bones, and spent nearly five years bedridden. Today, he lives with a disability and uses a wheelchair.

Our home in Ukraine was destroyed by the war. We are now trying to rebuild our lives in Canada, where I am the only breadwinner for our family. I am responsible for supporting our three children, my disabled husband, and my mother, who also has a disability.

My husband continues to fight in his own way — through his writing. He writes about Ukraine, the war, politics, and world events.

Three days ago, he started building his Substack publication. During those three days, 32 people subscribed, but only two became paid subscribers.

We are sincerely grateful to every reader. But two paid subscriptions are nowhere near enough to cover even our family's most basic needs.

A paid subscription costs just $8 a month. For some people, that is a small amount. For us, it means being able to buy groceries for our children and pay our bills.

My husband has one dream: to turn his writing into a stable source of income so that, despite his disability, he can help me support our family.

Please, if you can, consider becoming a paid subscriber to his Substack.

And if you cannot commit to a monthly subscription, perhaps you could simply buy him a cup of coffee through Buy Me a Coffee.

Even a one-time contribution of a few dollars could help us buy bread, milk, or other essential groceries.

❤️ Read his articles and support him with a paid subscription:

☕ Or buy my husband a cup of coffee through Buy Me a Coffee. Every little bit helps.

Thank you to everyone who reads his work, subscribes, offers support, or shares our story.

With gratitude and hope,

Olena Rohoza 🇺🇦❤️
