I had to put this request in this weekend because of the reference to Dr. King. This is another Prince performance from that Glam Slam 1992 show. This song, "The Sacrifice of Victor," is also one of the most autobiographical songs Prince ever wrote where he talks about his childhood, his best friend's mom (Bernadette) taking him in as a teenager, having epilepsy, being part of desegregation bussing as a kid, and the race riots in Minneapolis in the late 60s.

💜 You can start this one at like 0:40 since this was an encore for a show, so there’s not much going on in the first 40 seconds. Just applause. ☺️ This was in 1992 at Prince’s club, Glam Slam, in Minneapolis. This show was a sort of dress rehearsal before they went out on tour, and the footage was finally released in October 2023. The entire show is worth watching, and I’d be happy to send you a Google drive link to the full concert if you’re interested, but this is a pretty good place to start. Enjoy! 💜
