Hey friend,
There's a new(ish) Notion tool that I don't see too many people talking about yet, but it's my favorite part of my new coffee-shop-tracking page.
The tool? Maps!
(Well, Map View of a Database if you want to use the full government name.)
As cool as this new feature is, customizing the map took me a hot second to figure out. I want to save you time, so I created a 2-minute tutorial that covers:
How to add a map view to your Notion page
The property you need to use for map pins to actually show up
How to use conditional color to customize your pins.
I used the conditional color to make the colors match my star-rating system for coffee shops, but there's a whole world of possibility.

Cheers,
