Hello, everyone!! My name is Candace and I am the founder and creative designer of my bohemian, sustainable womenswear brand, GeoBo. I wanted to start this company because I noticed an increasing problem with clothing either ending up in landfills because of terrible quality, polluting drinking our drinking water, and wage inequality among hardworking garment workers.
I love fashion and I hope to educate consumers (hopefully my future customers) on the time and effort it takes to plan and produce quality clothing. Thanks to fast fashion, clothing is taken for granted and consumers are encouraged to shop until they drop for poorly made clothing.
My tagline, Style Year Round, is a mindset that I want to instill in my company and to my future customer that quality is better than quantity and to encourage mindfulness when shopping for clothing. My hope from this profile is to use it as a crowdfunding platform for basic business needs like notions, fabric, pattern/sample making, and other minimal overhead expenses.
