About Off-Grid Island Family
Off-grid homesteading survivalist family.
Over the past few years, it's become abundantly clear that certain entities do not have our best interests at heart. We decided to move entirely off grid.
A temporary tiny house (originally intended to be the Pajero home later) functions as our home-base, allowing us to manage construction of a family house. However, due to the amount of love, energy (and injury) put into the tiny house / garage, we will most likely keep it as a guest house.
Currently 100% off-grid: water and electrical power. Our roof is host to six 'Canadian' 450w panels and four 100ah batteries. We are also collecting rainwater for utilities and use well water for drinking, after running through a 3-stage filter system including UV (ultraviolet). I was careful not to over-filter the water, as my hope was to allow as many natural minerals through as possible. Eliminating harmful biotics, which the ultraviolet light does.
Thank you SO MUCH for watching, and if you feel moved to support our mission, it would be appreciated beyond words.
