'Litter Free Paddle' with Outdoor Explore
This is a campaign we run for as long as we operate. Feeling privileged to paddle in so many amazing places we do our little bit to help to protect it.
This guided tour is 2-2.5 hours long and the only expectation is that you recharge your mind in the beautiful surroundings on this slow-paced journey. All paddling equipment will be provided.
We have three trips planned for 2023 at this moment:
Loch Faskally - Pitlochry - 9th March - 1.00 pm start
River Tay - Perth - 31st May - 10.00 am start
Forfar Loch - Forfar - 7th October - 10.00 am start
All paddling equipment will be provided. There is a selection of single and double kayaks (even Canoe or Paddleboard by request) to choose from depending on experience and weather conditions.
The trip is suitable for those 7 years and older. All that you need to bring is some warm clothes for the weather, including shoes you don’t mind getting wet. No previous kayaking experience is needed. Please get in touch for further details. We will be in touch a few days before the trip with more detailed information, including the meeting point, chosen to suit us best for the weather conditions at the time.
Litter Free Paddle gathered some amazing volunteers over the years. Since 2014 we have collected nearly 5 tonnes of rubbish from various locations in Tayside. As we are not a charity we were never unable to receive any funding covering any of our costs, so if you can support us and buy us some coffee, that would be truly amazing!!!
