My name is Andrew Apple, and I guess you could say I'm a writer who codes. Or I'm a developer who writes. Or maybe I just like to make stuff.
It just so happens that the stuff I make is either a story, like these short film scripts Toast (5 pages) and Junk Drawer (20 pages), or a tool, like Caranova, that contributes, in some way, to the writing of more stories.
Of course, my favorite type of web app is the one that solves a very specific problem for a very specific person by doing one very specific thing. That's why I built GoFullSando.
What's next? I am building Diner by the Beach, a suite of tools for writers who love to read with a pencil in their ear. It's for creatives who can't leave the house without a notebook. It's for messy-brained makers who have their ideas and thoughts spread across multiple notebooks, apps, emails to themselves, sticky notes, index cards, voice memos, and of course, napkins.
