Right Way Out is going to be a horror game made by yours truly, taking inspiration and elements from Bollywood horror film cliches, such as the spooky and often gaudy vfx, ghoulish villains, as well as tales of revenge. The game will be made on the Godot Engine, since it's beginner friendly.
The premise is that you're a divorced accountant from Tiruchirappalli, who has been tasked to search for his ex-wife in a long-abandoned ancient manor that is haunted by demons. Uncovering the right secrets and stuff will bring you to the true good ending. Yes, there are gonna be multiple endings when done in certain orders, a la Shadow the Hedgehog (2005) and The Stanley Parable (2013).
This project is gonna take a while to build; so to avoid rushing the whole thing, I'm building up the art, music and story first, before actually working on the game itself. I won't be seeking any funds for this game as it'll be made on an open-source game engine.
I'm currently in the process of forming a proof-of-concept prototype with the Godot Engine. I'm doing this as it might help me jog my memories with the game engine and expand on my computer skills.
