My name is Hau — founder and director at O2 Production.
I am writing this today with complete sincerity and humility to share a legal and financial setback arising from my lack of administrative experience when I was 26. This is something I have wrestled with for a long time, and I truly hope to receive understanding and support from the community that has loved and accompanied O2 Production over the years.
What happened?
Back in 2017, while producing the film project Active Boys, we received sponsorship from a brand. At that time, lacking administrative experience, I believed I needed to establish a formal company (O2 Entertainment & Media Co., Ltd.) to sign contracts and issue valid invoices to our sponsor.
However, as a pure artist, I lacked experience in corporate management, tax reporting, and compliance procedures. After the project ended, the company had no further commercial operations (from 2018 to present). Due to registration address issues and missed routine filings, the company was designated as non-operational at its registered address, leading to a locked tax ID.
The situation peaked when I discovered a temporary travel ban placed on me due to the company's unsettled tax obligations. After proactively working with the tax authorities to clarify the matter, I realized that I must fully dissolve the old company and settle all back taxes and late-payment penalties accumulated over the years.
Our Goal & Recovery Plan
The total cost to settle the tax debts, penalties, and legal fees required to close the company's tax ID is estimated at $8,000 USD (approximately 200 million VND). This amount far exceeds my current personal financial capacity.
My goal between now and early December is to raise enough funds to:
Settle All Tax Obligations & Penalties: Fully discharge all financial duties owed to the state for the former company.
Complete Dissolution Procedures: Properly close the corporate tax ID in accordance with legal regulations.
Transition to Individual Business Tax Registration: Register an appropriate, transparent, and legally compliant structure for the O2 Production YouTube channel to continue operating sustainably.

Financial Transparency: Every contribution will be publicly updated. As soon as all filings with the tax authority and legal advisors are finalized, I will post all receipts, tax payment vouchers, and official dissolution decisions on our official channels.
