I bought Ngaroto a 40 plus year old boat this year with no sailing experience to learn how to sail. Hoping to explore more of the Hauraki Gulf and further along New Zealand's coastline.

With the majority of my boat ownership being repairing it, i was told had no issues, than sailing, i still have a long way to go and many more repairs/replacements still needed.

The dream is to solo sail to the Bay of Islands as a start and one day overseas (not on this old boat though).
