I’m Mike, a North Jersey commuter who likes building useful tools and figuring out how things work. I started NYP Tracks as a personal project after getting tired of waiting around at Penn Station for track information.

What started as something for myself has grown into a live NJ Transit departure board with early track assignments, track predictions, cancellation alternatives, and more features I’m still working on.

I’m building and maintaining the site in my spare time, and I’m constantly collecting data and improving the predictions. If NYP Tracks has helped make your commute a little easier, any support is appreciated and helps keep the site running.
