My name is Mareme Umm Eesa and I am the founder of "Nursing and Nurture the Sunnah Way," a WhatsApp community providing free parenting, infant feeding, breastfeeding, and health support to Muslim women.

I started this community four years ago when my son was born, realizing there was little to no infant feeding support tailored to the unique needs of Muslim mothers. As a trained infant feeding peer supporter, I felt inspired to fill this gap by offering compassionate and culturally aware guidance to help mothers navigate their feeding journeys with confidence.

Through this platform, I’ve supported countless women, الحمد لله. But I believe we can do more. My dream is to train more Muslim women as infant feeding peer supporters, empowering them to provide much-needed support within our communities.
