Hi, I’m the solo developer behind numbertwenty.io.

Like many football fans, I’ve often watched a match and felt that the final score was completely undeserved. Quantifying that post-match feeling is incredibly difficult, and even modern metrics like 'xG' are biased and miss the bigger picture. To answer that subjective question objectively, I built a "fairness engine" for football.

My algorithm scans thousands of historical matches to find a game's closest statistical neighbors, stripping away random luck to reveal the true, deserved outcome. It is independent data science research, made clear and accessible for everyone.

I run this project completely on my own and I want to keep it free (as it should be...).
