Concert Information
Alloy THAT Noise brings seven saxophonists together for a program spanning more than 150 years of music and composers connected to five continents. Throughout the concert, the group shifts between duet, quartet, quintet, and seven-part ensembles, giving each piece its own combination of players and sound. The program moves through orchestral favorites, folk-inspired works, sacred music, early modernism, and contemporary chamber music, featuring Holst, Mussorgsky, Grainger, Bartók, Shostakovich, Akiho, and others. The show is an eclectic mix of familiar music, unexpected repertoire, and many, many saxophones.
Minimum ticket cost of $5 per ticket. Ticket cost helps cover the cost of venue acquisitions (when applicable) and supports your local musicians for their hard work!
