Hello November 🌾
It’s unreal how fast time is moving. I’ve officially been moved out for over 2 months. This semester is already pretty much over. So much has happened yet sometimes it feels like nothing has happened at all. Anyways, I’m going to update you all on some life choices I’ve made and also let you in on the tea about my sticker launch 😉🤫
Firstly, for those who may not know, I am currently in school working towards a bachelors in vocal performance. Recently, I made the decision to….drumroll…..MINOR IN VISUAL ART & NEW MEDIA!!!! I’m SO excited for this. Ever since I started college I’ve felt like I haven’t been able to creatively express myself the way that I want to. I’ve also discovered that photography fulfills me in a way nothing else does and I honestly feel that this decision was an important one in regards to my life path/career. I can’t wait to learn more about this art and I’m so stoked to be in an environment with other photographers/artists and to be able to do what I’m passionate about for school! To top it all off, you all will have the inside scoop on what I’m working on for school! I can’t wait to share my creative process with you all and let you in on my school projects, etc.
Next topic of discussion: STICKERS!! If you follow me on social media you may have seen already that I announced the release of my stickers! For the longest time I thought it would be so cool to just have a sticker of a photo I took to stick on my water bottle or laptop, and then finally I made it a reality! Here’s where I let you all in on some top secret info🤩 I will be releasing “25 Days of Stickers” starting December 1st! I thought it would be super fun and exciting to release a different sticker each day leading up to Christmas, and of course I’m going to sprinkle in some surprises throughout (gonna have to stick around to find out what’s in store😋). I was thinking of having some way to allow supporters and members exclusive power when it comes to voting on stickers but I’m not sure how to go about it. I’m thinking maybe having a close friends story on Instagram, and only members would have access to it! Let me know in the comments if that sounds like something you’d be interested in!
Lastly, I’ve released a new subscription tier! I now have a “you’re a real one” tier! Members of this tier will have access to posts where I talk about film stocks I try, film stocks I love, things that inspire me and more! I’m a member of a club called “Film of the Month Club” (@filmofthemonthclub on Instagram) and they send you a mystery roll of 35mm or 120mm film every month! I decided to subscribe to the service this year because I realized there are so many film stocks I have yet to try and it’s hard for me to willingly step out of my comfort zone so I figured if I left it up to someone else to pick my film there’s no losing! This has proven to be true because I’ve already gotten sent two film stocks I’ve never tried and guess what: only subscribers of “you’re a real one” will get to hear my thoughts on them! Subscribers of this tier will also get to see each and every photo from my film of the month club rolls! (Woo hoo!) subscribers of this tier will also have access to personal things that inspire me such as playlists, movie lists, lists of my favorite photographers, etc! There’s SO MUCH more excitement to come and if you want to be up to date, you know what to do! :)
