How do I get the starter library of recipes?
On first launch the app will be empty. Tap “Load Library” to add the curated collection of 300+ recipes. If you already have recipes from another device, wait a moment for iCloud to sync before loading.
Why don’t my recipes appear on my other device?
Make sure you’re signed into the same iCloud account and that iCloud Drive / CloudKit is enabled for the app. The first sync can take a little time. After that, changes should appear more quickly.
How does “Can Make” / My Bar work?
Add the ingredients you own in the My Bar tab. Then use the My Bar filter on the Lounge tab (or the summary at the bottom of My Bar) to see cocktails you can make with zero, one, or two missing ingredients.
Can I add my own recipes?
Yes. Tap the + button to create a custom recipe. You can also edit existing ones, add notes, tags, and sources.
How do I back up or move my data?
Go to Settings → Manage Data. You can export all recipes as JSON or CSV, import recipes, restore the default library, or delete custom/default recipes. More info here.
Is there a subscription or ads?
No. Cocktail Lounge has no ads, no in-app purchases, and no subscription.
