A proposito di Not Before Coffee!
opening her journal and talking about it, books and films.

Every week I watch something, read something and talk about my mental health journey.
I love reading pretty much anything and talking about it - I love the idea of introducing people to a new author, or reintroducing them to someone they haven't read in a while. There should be no gender in reading (now I am reminded of a course I took called the 'book gender agenda', that's going to stick with me for a while).
And as for TV and film...well, what can I say? I love the classics and I like to watch something new. Sometimes I like to talk about it. I don't believe in pussyfooting around the truth, if I don't like it I will say!
Though it's never easy, I honestly believe that opening up and sharing my life experiences, especially where my mental wellness is concerned, will help people and myself to realise that having mental health issues is not a dead end. Accepting that you need help sometimes is not a bad thing, there should be no stigma to admitting you don't always feel 100%.
Oh, and did I forget to mention, I can't do anything without at least three cups of coffee? Seriously, that stuff fuels my day.
