One of the things I’m trying to get a handle on are all the documents I have on file. I love to print everything and I’ve accumulated quite a bit. After all these years, I’m buried in paper but I’m in the process of decluttering this disorganized puzzle, one piece at a time.
I must confess I’m a data collector and information seeker which has left me surrounded by lots of articles, essays, and so on that keep landing on my desk. Even in the electronic age. Perhaps I've remained stuck in a bygone era, where colleagues sent interoffice mail envelopes with highlighted and/or circled newsclippings of interest inside to one another – for creative inspiration or to help formulate their next pitch to a client or higher up. (Before emails and the coveted BlackBerry* phones that followed made everyone (not just doctors) on call 365/2407.)
Nevertheless, I don’t think I'll ever be a minimalist but I will do everything I can to simplify my life so I can keep and enjoy the things I don’t want to part with, just yet. Or feel pressured to just because it’s “freeing.” That’s great, but if I’m not there yet, I'm not there yet. Until then, I'll continue selling or donating what I can, but carefully.
One thing however that I'm more than ready to chuck is the paper baggage which includes but is not limited to the countless recipes I’ve written down over the years which inspired me to make better use of by launching this series of random recipes. My notes weren’t always clear nor gave the best instruction but I'm sure we'll be able to wing it, just fine.

BlackBerry no longer manufactures phones, but it still exists today. As of 2024, the company is developing cybersecurity software in Canada. After BlackBerry sold the brand name to BB Merah Putih, the license changed hands thrice. And with each change in ownership, overall sales of BlackBerry phones declined further.
