At the Doctors
It didn't mattered if I came in an hour early for the 1PM internist, I still had to list my name along with the others. Most of them had come earlier than me. One lady said she got here at 11AM. I'm 15th in line.
This is the usual hospital scenario here in the Philippines: you come earlier than usual to beat the other patients in line to see the doctor. Unless you can afford a private doctor, meaning you can call in an appointment at their clinic, you don't really have the luxury of preferential treatment.
I'm just a little worried because my health card will expire soon. At most, all I can prolly get approved is a urinalysis.
It's getting hard growing old. I know I'm only 48, but it doesn't matter. Years of lack of sleep and hereditary started creeping up to me.

So, I found out a substitute to Oyster sauce: Worcestershire Sauce with Soy Sauce and Sugar. I'm quite excited to get back to my cooking once again.
