When July 2025 rolls around, Jerusalem will host not one but two vibrant scenes: art-house cinema and professional striptease shows. From July 17 to 26, the 42nd Jerusalem International Film Festival offers daytime world and Israeli premieres—and after dark, pop-up stages will feature top striptease performers from Tel Aviv, Haifa, Eilat, and central Jerusalem.
How It All Started
On July 6, 2025, the LuxeLive team attended a press briefing at Jerusalem Cinematheque. The festival’s programming director confessed,
“We aim to bring together cinephiles and club-goers alike. Blending film with striptease creates an entirely new performance format.”
Tickets are already 60 percent sold out, and volunteers have jumped by 20 percent to 300 participants.

The 42nd Jerusalem International Film Festival
From July 17 to 26, Jerusalem transforms into a cinema mecca. The opening night at Sultan’s Pool on July 17 will welcome over 5,000 guests, including Gal Gadot and Laurence Bender, who will hand out special awards. The July 26 closing ceremony will honor winners in:

Israel Film Fund has increased its budget by 20 percent—allocating ₪30 million to support local co-productions and VFX/VR startups.
After-Party: Film + Striptease Shows
Each night at 9 PM, guests can buy a “Film + Show” combo ticket for ₪250, which includes a screening and one set by a headline performer:
