Hi! I am Nikita Thakur, from my home studio in Mumbai , India. A place where I create intuitive colourful abstracts using a mix of mediums! I love playing and experimenting and chance upon joyful discoveries. My paintings are painted over a number of days over a number of layers till I come up with a compelling visual stories.

My inspiration comes from weathered surfaces, aerial views of Mama earth, mundane things like fallen leaves on the ground. I love capturing inspiration from the viewfinder of my camera lens to capture the juxtaposition of contrasting textures and colours.
