Bits and pieces
Things have been challenging for the past few weeks….I rescued my car, as you know, and it is STILL with the new mechanic, who is waiting for a part. It’s a common problem with European cars….the never-ending wait for parts. At least I know I can trust this guy. THANK YOU to all of you for your donations, they fully covered the repairs! I hope I’ll be on the road soon and ‘ll send you a picture of Peanut as soon as she’s home.
Punk Cabaret reigns!
The Dresden Dolls have released the posters we collaborated on last year, for their upcoming tour, which was a social media whirlwind! There are very limited edition prints and original works for sale.
Such good news!
I have managed to see two physiotherapists, who are completely amazing human beings. They deal with chronic pain and have explained to me the causal links between trauma and inflammation, pain and damage to the nervous system. So aside from teaching me to walk again, they are literally helping me retrain my nervous system. It’s going to be a long road to recovery – probably 18 -24 months, but it is so comforting knowing I’m working with people who actually know what’s wrong and how to fix it. 😊😊
My artmaking will slow down as I embark on this new healing journey, my muse deserves a break !
