Hi, I'm Jordan, the creator of Nelson Trails, a website aimed to provide detailed information and maps for recreational trails throughout the wider Nelson-Tasman region.

What started as a personal hobby project in 2015 has grown into a comprehensive resource. In a time when trail content can be generated in minutes, Nelson Trails remains a largely hands-on project, built from field visits, local knowledge and years of incremental improvement. When time allows, I continue to get out and explore trails, verify information, improve maps, and maintain the website to keep it accurate and useful for locals and visitors alike.
